[hello]

If you do a search on this site, I know this has been discussed before. Read that and see if you can find your answer. Then post right here the things/questions you did not find the answer too.

buy an x-jet and throw those stupid cumbersome X-tend wands in the trash.

They are about as useless as having another butt-hole

Jlw, Whatever you decide to do just do not order the extendawand from Canada. The guy name is Stephen Howland and his service is terrible after the sale. Just a warning, get the xjet locally and scrap the wand idea.

My position is that depending on the type of work you will be doing, you may need an xjet AND an extension pole.

For me, I could not function without either. They both have there purposes. For example, try washing brick 10 feet up without an extension pole, the xjet is not gonna do squat for you.

While I agree 100% that the service for ExtendaWand is not what it should be, I also have to say they are a heck of a lot better than the cheap fiberglass twist-cam pieces of crap.

I have not used a Coress so I can't comment whether they are the best.

I build my own out of the extended poles you can buy at Home Depot. Run a hose through it double bolt on top and put a foot pedal on it.... COOL.... Mine can go up 25' !!!!! It's like fighting a big tuna but with the foot pedal it works great. I land the fish everytime !!!!!

Believe it or not....I clean a good many Churches...It's tuff to reach the top of the Steeple....especially on a windy day...A 8' lance on a 8' ladder with an X-jet barely does it....I need something longer....Extend A Wand or Coress??? What say ya'll??? I have read most of the post on the subject but am looking for some "current" data....

Thanks.....

jlw, try drilling new holes in the shaft. i thought i needed new pinlocks but the holes were worn. i have four extendawands. i use at least one of them every day i work. i wouldn't trade for anything but i haven't seen a coress either. the guy used to be prompt and reliable but lately i've had to wait. i'd like more info on the coress. their website is lacking that. the extendawand is a very good product in my opinion. duane

I recently bought a coress wand... It is light and is easier to handle at 32 feet out than my 24 foot fiberglass from northern tools

I've used both the Coress and the ExtendaWand...the Coress is by far the better wand. Much lighter and more rigid. A little more expensive than the EW, but well worth the money.
