Extention pole...

I have a 24 foot extention pole that I have been using on houses, the problem that I have been having is as follows, 3000 p.s.i. 5.5 gal per min. 200 degree water. the ploe has such a bad arch to its almost impossible to control and get close to the structure to be cleaned. I was wondering if the tip I was using was to small or I maybe should drop the pressure doun a little bit.
The estention pole seems to be a good one, however I don't think its normal for the ploe to have such an exterme arch to it. Any thoughts on this will be a big help.
I noticed the extreme arch the first time I used it, so it not that it's something thats just starting to show signs of age or abuse.
Thanks...

My extention pole seems to arch like that only when it is fully extended......Therefore, I only fully extend it when absolutely necessary. I can't see any way to prevent that from happening.

Hi Barry YEP it will have an arch. I found that for those really high places I sometimes use the xjet on top of the extended pole you can lower it down some and still maintain the distance for the water.
We will usually brush those areas then use xjet to rinse ( 2 to 2 1/2 story houses). But the arch is normal. Hope that helps Tim

Barry,
The heat will contribute to the arch as well. One time mine arched all the way to the ground. After that I changed the 3/8 hose inside to a 1/4 inch hose and don't use heat unless absolutely neccessary. The heat will soften the fiberglass and aluminum. I rarely use my 24 anymore, mostly an 18 on 2 stories, and my 12 is my all around favorite.
