[hello] ,need advise on how to keep wand marks off faded vinyl siding? When I clean vinyl I apply bleach and detergent let stand then pressurewash. After it dries I see wand marks.I try to make even sweeps and even reapply chemicals. Its hard to make sure you get every square inch. Any advice would help. thanks.

The wand marks could be clean spots,
if the vinyl is oxidized you may need a
more agressive cleaner and even some
elbow grease with a brush!

Do you get clean spots if you rub the
surface with your finger?

yes it comes off. I use high grade bleach and detergent, let stand making sure it does not dry then spray off evenly. But after it dries I see the wand marks or clean places. there are not many spots that are not clean .but enough that when you see it from the side it shows. I make sure to try to stay an even distance away from the siding.what other products or methods can I try and how to apply the products you suggest. thanx.

Although a better chem mix might help, I agree that brushing will help eliminate the wand marks. We scrub all our siding jobs and almost never get markings. Vinyl especially tends to clean up the best. Good luck.
