We were just getting ready for a public event, and I thought that our rigs looked crummy. I never thought about PWing them before, but being in here and seeing all the fleet guys talk about stacks and whatnot. Anyway, since this would basicaly be a volunteer thing (I could get the dept. to buy chems) is there a simple product(s) that I could use to brighted up the rigs it is mostly the Al diamond plate and some chrome. Thing is I don't want anything that could damage other parts- hose, brass, covers ect.

If you haven't the knowledge in 2-stepping a brush and a fleet soap is your best way.
The D'plate is polished on most fire trucks so you'll need a fleet soap that want damage it,a alkaline fleet soap should be ok.

If 2-stepping a HP acid and alkaline fleet soap.
