Florida Pressure Washers?

Can anyone tell me what the process is for getting an occupational license in this state is? What do I gotta do? I've been PW'ing in NJ for 13 years and never had to get a license. Thanks for your help,

I live in Charlotte county. I'm heading over to the county building to find out whats involved now.

All you need to do is

1) Register your ficticious name or corporate entity with the state.

This can be done online at www.sunbiz.org

Cost = $50

(Step 1 is not required if you use your own name for business).


2) Go to your counties tax collectors office and apply for your occupational license.

Cost = $35-50


3) Remember to get insured!


4) Welcome to Florida!

I've been PWing for years now, but it's been a while since I had to do the new start up thing. I'm just curious how long it took you to get going.
