Dear Glenn,
Our units are equiped with flow actuated valves and if the flow is restricted, the burner will not ignite due to the restriction. I am only stating that a larger rated nozzel will still carry enough flow to ignite the burner and work fine, however, a restricted flow (which can be caused by a nozzel rated at fewer gpms than the machine calls for)will not actuate the valve or actuate it intermittenly.
You should have no problem with your down stream injector no matter what spray nozzel you use as the nozzel no longer comes into play once you open your valve to activate the injector. The injector really does not inject the soap, it works strictly on flow and the soap is siphened out.
Hotwater can probably explain it better than I. Good luck.
Bryan
