General Cleaning of Stucco

High Pressure

New Member
Been asked to clean a tan stucco house. Kind of afraid to clean it and take the chance of ruining the stucco and removing the color.

It's not that dirty, just a little mildew.

I know I should probably use very low pressure, but what kind of soap/chemical, hot or cold water should I use?

I was thinking of using bleach or a general soap used for vinyl siding. Will diluted bleach take away the color?

Please advise on the best procedure.

Thanks . . . .

I dont think some bleach will damage the color.

One thing you want to know before you do anything is if it is stucco or dryvit. Dryvit is basically a "fake" stucco.....and is very thin and has to be washed with care.

More info on it at www.dryvit.com
