Good Chem Injector

Does anyone know of a good chem injector that will pull through 200 to 250 feet of hose? I know that most work good for about 100' or so.

If you can put your chemical injector in the middle of your hose or you can put it on the end of your gun or lance .

Or maybe use a bigger nozzle then you have now , this may help on the draw at 250'.

I got one from Glenn at Ace. It is has a 1.8 orifice. I have a 4 gpm/4000 psi rig and regularly draw 200 to 250' with no problem.

Thanks John. I have been using an x-jet but I am trying to eliminate the dragging of chems around the house. I want to have my chem tank on my rig and draw from that. So my injector has to be at the rig.

Steve,

I thought you were asking about a downstream injector. If so, then a 1.8 is the answer - or it is for me.

Steve,

The injector I got from Glenn is plumbed-in at the outlet side of my burner. It's not adjustable, but draws so much better than the others I have tried. It also lasts a long time using high-alkaline solutions.

With the 1.8, I find I am drawing 2 to 2 1/2 times more than the injector that came with the rig or the aftermarket injectors I had been buying. I hadn't realize that injectors came in different sizes, but am glad that Glenn educated me!

Most jobs, I am running 200' of hose and sometimes use a 24' extension and never have a problem drawing chem.

I use the general injectors and have no problem with 200 feet of hose. For a five GPM machine, I get the injector rated at 3-5 GPM. It gives it a little more draw.

I have a question. This may sound dumb, but hey, you never know until you ask.

Say I'm getting a 5:1 draw from my downstream injector. What if I put another injector into the line, with the draw hose running to the same chemical source as the first. Would I then be getting a 2.5:1 draw? That's not much worse than my x-jet on my machine, and would certainly make it easier than dragging buckets around.

I like what oneness was talking about. Can you use two downstream injectors to up your ratio? Bigboy, did you say that you do that now? So actually you could get a pretty good ratio if you kept adding injectors in-line with each other. I guess any more then probably two would be crazy.

Steve,
I can draw up to 200' no problem..... Why does anyone want to drag around that much hose ??????

I tried two injectors...it didn't work! Just run your machine without a hose and you will spray about 50 feet out of the injector.
Too much pressure for suction...I am guessing.
