Graffiti removal

I recently removed graffiti from a playground park. There was graffiti everywhere and all of it was removed EXCEPT for a stubborn area. That area is a concrete park bench. I applied taganator and tagaway several times but was unable to remove the paint. I'm frusterated that I was able to remove the paint everywhere else but here. Does anybody have any suggestions on this?

Soda blasting. You can get an attachment for your pressure washer that looks similar to an M-5.It is NOT the most cost effective way to soda blast, but,it will get the job done fine.I have used it numerous times when the weather won't cooporate,or it's stubborn.Try your supplier where you get your pressure washers from.We pay a fair amount more than you guys/gals do for equiptment.I think I payed about $350 for mine. The wadu will use less media, but it depends on how often it'll get used as well as whether you want to warehouse another bulky unit for the only once in a while application.Hope this helps. You can also use crushed glass, but it is a little more aggesive than the soda and will cause minor damage to the concrete.I realize that some times painting is one of the only options,I just don't like the looks.I guess it is one of those situations where you have to take the lesser of two evels.

Here are some pictures of graffiti on concrete. We used a caustic based product and hot water. Sometimes 200+ degree water does the job.

We have a Wadu soda blasting attachment just for the times that other things do not work.

Man, either Dave stays thirsty or he's got all the cool stuff. I'll piggy back Revives question and ask what that is and how it works. Looks a lot more professional then a garden sprayer. I want one.

As to the graffiti question, maybe if you increased the dwell time? Sometimes when the paint in applied thickly, the chemcial has to be given enough time to eat through. This may "etch" the bench to a certain degree, but may be a cost sufficient solution.

Yes, that canister was used for syrup in the soda pop industry. We have not experienced any problems with the seals.

We had to replumb the top so we could hook a hose on the dip tube side and a air fitting (like a valve stem on a tire) on the other side. We use a small air compressor that we mounted/hung on the wall of our trucks. We can remove the compressor and take it in to kicthens when needed.

Dwell time can help. Sometimes the weather conditions cause the product to dry if you leave it on to long.

This is an online company that sells these.
They are getting harder to find (outside of user companies, coke pepsi etc) due to the big companies going to the box fountain drink. They are selling or getting rid of these as inexpensive as posible. If you have a coke or pepsi company around then see if you can get them from there. I bought some at $10.00 each from pepsi and as you can see this online company is much more.

I don't have any trouble with soaps but my acid (Hydrofloric) will find the weak spots in the stainless. [hello]
I used this way to put sealer on my roof and it worked great - it was the same sealer used on cement.

Hope this helps.
