IM OPEN FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS. LIKE I SAID, I'M NEW AND WOULD LIKE TO SET A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION. THIS COULD LEAD TO CONTRACT WORK IF I DO THIS RIGHT. blacktop is made up of oil so what you need to do is take off the top oil without doing damage to the black top. not easy if it were me i would go to home depot and get the purple degreaser. Then i would use hot water and a 40 deg tip. get a stiff bristled brush and a bucket and mix the degreaser and water in the bucket. Brush on let dwell rinse it off
over and over untill i got it where i wanted it or close then take kitty litter and spread it on the spot use your feet to grind it in then sweep keep doing this untill the spot is gone.
you can only really clean the dirt that stuck to the oil on top then draw the rest with the kitty litter.

WHAT

WHEN DID THEY START MAKING BLACK PAVE CLEAN?
or did they start making white black top?
no offence to anyone but pave clean sucks. . . . .
i can spread kitty litter out a lot cheaper and do the same thing.
or some portland cement.
but who the hell am I? everyone needs to make a living.
trod the pave clean is for cement NOT BLACK TOP

Ron is right-I can just see the famous Demos of the Summer. The product was designed for concrete with limited results at best.

You can mix there tint which is black to match the asphalt coloring and yes it will work on asphalt. I am not here to debate this product again so lets not start.

Pave Clean, way over prices and the distributor is a competitor, he is a pressure cleaner also, at least the one here on the West Coast.

Delco also sells it but again over prices for what it does, who wants one spot cleaned?

Sure it has its place, the selling point they use is liablility, no water, no reclaim.

I had a demo of it here two years ago, as David said not impressed with it.

There are those that say it works wonders and I am happy they like it.

Go buy pure powered concrete and work it in with a stiff bristle broom, sweep it up and pesto, home made pave clean.

Pave Clean etc.

It is more than just Portland. It is Kaolin also. Mostly that. Still high priced for what you get. Using pure portland can make a mess to clean up also. So use care before you just go spreading it everywhere.
