She said charge what you'd normally charge, but I don't usually do cedar sidings! And she only wants me to do it! I've done decks in the past. It's approx. 40' by 50' and walls average 10' tall, mostly level house. Cedar is from the ground to the overhang, and it's mostly square house, with only a small cutout for the porch (maybe 10x20 feet)! Has some sealer supposedly, but my test patch confirmed it would come off EASILY! Do you guys charge by the linear foot or square footage or one wall like a deck in terms of square footage? Just a little help is appreciated! :D

I know you will want to take good care of your Aunt, but I'll tell you what we would charge. We get around $1.00 per square foot, without discounting the area for windows or doors. On this house, that would amount to about $1800. That includes the cost of sealer.

We've sold dozens of jobs at that price this year. On some jobs that were difficult we have gotten almost $2/sq ft.

Good Luck!

They plan on sealing it themselves, and I've advised them what to use. They just want me to cleanse the wood! I'd figured about 1½ days worth of work!
