Help removing tar!

I needed to know whats the best solivant or degreser mix for removing tar on a red brick building. Thanks.

Tar remover

We use dLimonene(pure form-no distillates) w/Heat or Steam. If it is really old & has stained dark maybe more caustic TEST from mild to strong; mineral spirits-paint thinner-xylene/MEK and last resort Paint remover. The problem isnt how to get it off it is how to remove it & get the brick to be of uniform color, without destroying the surrounding environment & the workers. Some red brick is very soft, sometimes it has been stained with white/brown/rust colors in production. Be very careful to not hit it with too much pressure.
