Getting ready to take the big step here in about 1 month (no decks yet), I have the ground work layed out but lacking the equipment and chemicals.

Been renting equipment from local stores to get my feet wet nothing fancy but it works. im trying to find out what type of equipment the rest of the world uses, I understand that its a personal coice but im just wondering I.E. trailer or pickup, brand names of your favorites, where to buy from...Ive been reading and printing your posts for about a week everyone seems like they care for the business as a whole, like one team.
So please feel free to drop your two cents ill read them all
Thank you all for your help

Glad you're aboard! Ive been at this full time since January and have learned a tremendous amount by the bulletin boards. This one in my opinion is the daddy of them all, even though they sometimes get hung up on some things like the PWNA or the x-jet. My word of advice: Spend $$$$$$ cautiously. Get what you need as you go. We cant say name brands here but I like the hot water machines best. I dont do decks so I dont know what to say about that. Just be careful with those $$$$. Dont try to get every gadget there is out there. Get catalogs from different people. Dont get in a hurry to buy anything! Hope that helps!

... Kevin is right!

Take it easy - look it over. When you see a difference in price ask why then go to the competition and ask the SAME Question. Get both sides of the answer - it will help you a lot!

I suggest a pick-up w/ trailer
This is why: You need something strong enough to pull everything. Look towards future growth - what will you be growing into? 55 gal. drums of chemical? water Reclaimation? a vacu-boom? horizontal scrubbers? Water tanks? Manlifts? Ladders? ect. ect. ect.

As far as deck work -
...deck work a good thing to do! Nice $$$! I avoided it too! ...but customer demand was a different thing!
Ya' gotta go where the money is!
Thats what you are there for!

Good Luck!
