It all depends on where you are, how good you are, experience, reclaim and a lot of other varibles.Once a month washing for a road tractor? we wouldnt be near $15 (much higher) and on van trailers we give a discount after x amount but stay right around JETSTREAM1's price for a two time a month wash schedule.

When doing fleets a lot of guys price low for some reason then die trying to earn a buck because they have to wash so fast, mean time quality starts to lack and soon they have no fleet to wash. Fleet washing is tough work, on you, your crew and equipment. charge a fair price that makes it worth it to you so that you can deliver the quality they expect.

Yeah this is my first time doing this type of work ..

I told him 17.00 for the tractors
23.00 trailers
and 20.00 for the trucks ..

I went and checked them out prior to the price, and they don't look to be dirty at all .. It does seem cheap though, I may just stick to homes and businesses ..

i get 20-25 for day cabs 25 plus for trailers depending on size and 30-35 for sleepers . . . .i do the three step method so i spray chem , scrub, then rinse. . . takes longer but looks alot better than two stepping . . .buti always give them the option. . .ask the guy to do a test run . . .clean them one week and see what its worth to yah. . . (secret) take detailed before and after pics to give to the boss (will help incredibly in "selling" your company)

I price at $60/hour

Hi - Am brand new at this site, but wanted to let you know that after underpricing several jobs, I find that simply stating that I charge $60/hour for a two man crew, 3500 psi, truck mounted power steam cleaner. If they want an estimate of time, I will give it and ask them if they want to limit the amount of time my guys work at the job.

We end up doing it quicker than expected and charging them less than they were expecting. If its a new customer, I sometimes will cut the time back, just to give him a lower bill.

Hope this helps.

Is that for trucks or anything you wash? Geez, if we only charged $60/hour for two men, we'd be out of business in about a week.
