put a new battery in my p/wer and now the thing wont shut off with key. do you suppose a wire came off i checked and cant find nothin

To me it sounds as if the inside of the switch has corrosion.Sometimes you can clean it and somestimes ya can't................C-ya

O Dan I forgot there is a little black wire that kills the engine.Somtimes it will come unpluged,if it is the engine want shut off.Its a kill wire that comes off your coils,the plug will be upper top below carb on the side...............C-ya
