Been awhile since I was in here.
Having bad luck with my power washer, tried it for the first time this spring, no pressure, guess I must have frozen something.

hi miss Debi, sure have missed that pretty face of yours around here,I cann't even pick a fight with Luckboy anymore, guess he wised up some huh,now I can pick on ya again.

See ifen you listen to me back last winter ya'd be squirting all over the place with psi.

Would be several things debi, make sure the line in clear all the way from the supply tank to pump, hmmm do you have any psi at all?.....could be unloader.......may have to prime the pump it could have a air lock in it (not letting it suck).

Marks good at these things maybe he'll have a better answer for you.

thanx, you always were fast, Bigboy....haha
no psi at all, I need to try a new gasket on my filter to begin with, I have a little leak, hope that may be enough.
You really should come up here to Newfound Lake and salmon fish..

Debi,

The gasket on the inlet filter could very well be the culprit,
if you do not have a good seal your pump will suck air.

the gasket was not the culprit, guess I need a mechanic
anyone up for a trip to NH?? haha

The water filter on one of my washers is leaking like crazy.......I just ordered a new one.........it will be here monday, and we'll see if that fixes my problem..........I'm pretty sure it will.

Good luck getting up and running, Debi........and dont be a stranger.

Debi,

If you are mechanically inclined I would be happy to help you
diagnose & repair your p/w. If not check with your local p/w distributor.
Good Luck!

Do you want to learn how? if so we may be able to walk you though the steps to check to see whats wrong.

If so start by removing the hose from the unloader to pump, from the port you removed the hose plumb your supply tank or watering hose, now take off your gun from your psi hose, start the engine and open wide open..did it pump any water(more than lik-e it will, hopefully).

Debi,

Shucks you are mechanically inclined and did not know it! :)
Glad you got your p/w running!

Hey here is a picture you might appreciate of Duke the Giant Dalmatian
and Red the Red Dog!

Duke was an 85 #lb Dalmatian!
(Had to put him down about a month ago he was full of tumors)

Hope all is well, nice to see ya around.

Mark,

Sorry about your doggie [dog] I know how hard that can be to take your dog in to be put down. Time for a puppy!!!!

Ole Duke had a Great Life!

A friend of mine used to always say if there is reincarnation,
I want to come back as your dog! Guess I spoil them. Another
puppy? I don't thinks so still have 4 kids 17, 15, 8, and 6 years old,
-1- hyper Red Dog and 3 noisy birds, I do not think I could handle a
puppy!

:)
