"High Flow"

Saw a website that was interesting. They build and sell pressure washers that have two engines with two pumps running in a series that doubles your GPM when both machines are working. I'm assuming the pressure doesn't change, just the GPM. I have my reservations, none of the rigs I saw was belt driven, which I would think would be a must for that kind of machine. Does anybody have an opinion on these machines? Kind of neat, if it works.

We build our trucks with a PTO that runs 3 pumps (belt drive) and you can hook 2 of them together to double the gpm but not the psi. Works great as long as both unloaders are set the same. We have not been able to get them to work together with a K-7 unloader though so we use a Suttner ST 261. I don't think it would be worth getting 2 machines to get higher gpm just get 1 machine with a larger pump.

the gpm should be cut in half as well as the pressure, its pretty rough on the unloader too ....i assume [white]

I have heard of a couple of guys doing just that. They run the HP hoses from the pumps into a "T" and then out of that into the gun. Use flow unloaders.

Saw a set-up just as you described at the PWNA show this year. It had a very high HCCP (holy crap cleaning power) factor. Just as you described: 2 Honda 18's linked thru a T-fitting, either dual or solo ops, one gun or two, 18+ gpm's, 4K psi. I did a review under the Product Review forum (top of first page).

Don't know about the longevity / durability of the unit, but a sweet sprayin' rig, no doubt.

where i've seen this done, two machines were run into one unloader capable of handling the GPM's of both machines. i don't remember exactly how it was plumbed.
