Hot Water Coils

I was offered an electric hot water washer today, I tried it out, but in the event I should ever need a coil for it, are they somewhat generic? It has a Wayne burner in it.. do they make the coil too? If I can make it do until I can afford a new one I think it would be a worthwhile investment, but the coil is the only part I can think of that I dont readily KNOW that I can replace/repair should the need arise.

Yes there are Companies that make Aftermarket Coils but I can not tell you the names in this forum. That would be considered Advertizing and my post will be deleted. Email me If you Like.

Wayne like Beckett only make the burner. Coils are generally available from the manufacturer's dealer or one of a couple of coil manufacturers.

The problem is that if you use a coil that is not exactly like the one originally installed you WILL change the burn characteristics of the coil. This WILL lead to incomplete combustion which will cause anything from soot fouling the coil to death if the CO's get too high and the machine is not properly ventilated.

Why try and reinvent the wheel. Spend a few $$ and get a professional to go over the machine and give you an evaluation of what to expect.

Hope this helps? Cheers

Any wholesaler can get a coil for you,I wouldn't worry to much about the coil going bad unless its been sitting for a long time. You'll have problems with finding electric to run it tho, some outlets want have enough power to run it,blow fuse or switches.

Phoenix,

Aftermarket coils for most pressure washers built are available from many pressure washer distributors. Unless the manufacturer that built this unit is out of business, you can probably still order an OEM coil. :)

There is at least one manufacturer of aftermarket coils, that there coils are frequently better than OEM!

Call me and I would be happy to give you my opinion on what fair market value on that machine would be, and what a replacement coil would run you.
