It is like any other pump out there, it is good and dependable but like any other brand, if you buy it used, it is all up to how the previous owner took care of it.
I bought my skid new in 2004 and it is running great. You can't just order a rebuild kit from most of the places that sell kits, usually you have to go through a dealer or a special place that can get their parts. Hotsy makes their own pump, the Hawk.

I think Tom and I have determined
that it is a Legacy pump, the Hawk
was discontinued shortly after Hotsy
was bought out by C-Tech / Karcher.
We have parts available for both the
Hawk & Legacy pumps.
We stock AR, Cat,& General pump parts,
but we can have the Hawk & Legacy parts
drop shipped usually 2-3 days out by UPS
ground.
