That looks great what did you use to clean it with what chemcials did you use and what kind of pressure washer did you use hot or cold? I just got into the business I have been doing just decks I have not tried to do a house yet, because I am just not sure how the pressure washer that I have will do. I have a cold pressure washer 2400 psi at 2.5 gpm.

Austin,

First, you need to get a real pressure washer. Your 2.5gpm is too feeble.

Then worry about house chemicals.

I used a TSP and bleach combo with the washer pressure turned down to 2000psi that I use on wood.

Austin,

The advice above is partially true. DO worry about the chemicals. Using the proper chemicals is going to allow you to do a better job with less effort.

Tony is right though, that pressure washer does not have a high enough output to be very productive. It's not the PSI.......it's the GPM's.

Learn your chemicals, build your business, and invest in new equipment as soon as you can. Leasing is an option also, if you have good credit. Once you upgrade to a unit that is around 5 GPM's, you will never know how you cleaned anything without it!

Good luck........keep reading, and post anything that comes to mind.

Nice Dan F. Since Debi posted the cleaning formula she used what did you use?

I have a feeling that you either had Bleach or Chlorine in your mixture. I almost always use Chlorine in my cleaning mixture because I get it from my pool buddy for the price he pays for it. And of course it works excellent.

Since I got to Texas, I have yet to find liquid chlorine in more that a gallon size. So I use, regular bleach and soap. They were very happy to say the least.

I get the chlorine from my friend in 5gal. sizes for $5.
Because of this I no longer use bleach. If you can somehow hook up with a pool co. they may give it to you for the same. That is a pool co. that also does weekly cleanings where they need a large quanity of chlorine for openings etc.
