I've made it so far, but with an enormous fear and struggle. I know it could have been worse, but I'm hoping things will pick up really fast now that I'm in the Yellow Pages. I would sure hate to fold so close to the starting line.
I'm not real sure how much I will spend on advertising, but I can assure you it won't be $30,000. I will be tickled if I make $30,000.00 the entire year, but I will try for twice that.
Sounds like whatever your doing is definitely on the right track.
Your right about the technigue on the house wash estimate. If you can get that close by just looking at a home, $30.00 shouldn't make that big a difference. I just like to be so close everytime that I can truthfully say I charge everyone the same thing. I know that's virtually impossible in this business. When you look at it from your angle, it makes sense that it wouldn't matter enough to worry about.
I really like you web site. I wish I had the money, knowledge and time to have one like it. I can still hope for the "someday" theory.
If I had as much success as I have worry and insecurity, I would be extremely wealthy. I still have good days though. If I can ever manage to get about 4 jobs a week, I think the worry and insecurity will fade.
I may worry a lot, but I'm not one who likes defeat or giving up. I plan to keep trying until I get it right. Besides, I'm getting really tired of worrying. It doesn't do anything but slow me down.
