Usually it is pretty straight forward,
it becomes a pain to tighten / adjust
the belt tension when the manufacturer
does not have belt tensioner bolts installed.
-1- Loosen pump bolts, loosen belt tensioner /
adjuster bolts. replace belts (with proper size)
make sure the belts are properly aligned,.
-2- Adjust belt tension Belt Tension: Proper belt tension would allow for 1/64 of an inch deflection for each inch of span between pulley centers with a 6#lb force applied in the middle of the span.
EXAMPLE:
A 6# lb force applied at the middle of an 8 inch span should produce a belt deflection of 8/64" or 1/8 inch.
-3-Tighten mounting bolts when proper tension is
made. Re-install belt guard.
-A- It may be easier to take it to your local dealer.
