Walt,
Heck the only reason I knew about this process is because they brought large equipment into our mfg. process.

Cleaned gas heating elements in a 300' long ovens.

No mess, no disassembly, and non-destructive.

Pretty neat system but costly. If we would have tore the ovens down and cleaned them conventionaly, down time would have been enourmous.

When I read enourmous my eyeballs looked like Donald Ducks eyeballs with dallor signs clicking faster ya eye.

Wished I knew about ice blasting 20/30 years ago other then having to work in freezen weather to seeee ice.

Larry,
Just wanted to pass on that our plant is using the dry ice blasting equipment again.

This time we are renting the equipment and supplying our own labor.

Cost $3500. per day or $145.83 per hour.

35 days worth of rentals and a $125,000. piece of equiptment is paid for.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

plus take us on a field trip as how it cleans plus its speed of cleaning.
