Is this unit any good?

hello buddy's how aer you today? i wanted to know if you could tell me if this unit sounds good[getout] or even if the product is good? it is a Karcher cold/hot/steam Elctric driven PW only has 50 + hours on it. the owner is willing to give the unit to me for less then 2K He said he paid like 4500 for it 2years ago? so would you say its a good deal or what?

If there are any pro roof cleaners out there please e-mail me i have cleaned a few now and i was wondering if you have any hint for a newbie thank you ezdayman@yahoo.com

Karcher has never been good to my knowledge.Add $1500 and buy a good machine,new,it will be worth it.

WELL I GUESS THAT SOLVES THAT PROBLEM!!! OK WELL WE HAVE A STORE IN MINESOTA CALLED NORTHER TOOL AND EQUIPMENT KNOW I DONT KNOW IF THERE EVERYWHERE IN THE US BUT THEY SELL A PW's called "NORTH STAR" HOW ABOUT THAT BRAND? there isnt that manyplaces to but PW here in minneapolis only a few in the yellow pages. So where did everyone get theres from?

Does anyone have good tips about how to remove those paint marks on curbs and sidewalks Marking for underground wires" from the phone company or gas company if you do please tell me? i have sprayed the poop out of them and they just stay there untill i Get mad and use some real elbow grease?:mad:

TYPING IN CAPITAL LETTERS:D

this might help next time....open the" start menu".....go to "settings"......."control panel".......double click on the "accessibility options icon".....on the" keyboard tab" select
use "toggle key option"..............this will make windows sound a tone whenever you hit caps lock and may help you to remember it is on :) .

ps i think i have seen a picture of dave olsen has doing kerb cleaning .....do search at the top of the page and see if it was on here.

northstar washers are good units,also diluted muriatic acid will help remove the paint you are refferring to as well as stripper in a spray can avqailable at your local home depot.

I had the same question years back and decide not to go with north star,they are average.Buy from Delco ,$3500 rk-21 is all you need,good machine.I am glad i did,thanks to Scott Stone.

North Star machines usually have Honda engines and AR, General and sometimes CAT. Belt-drives and hot water are also available. In addition, most stores have repair shops. I don't see a big difference between them and most others.

I just bought a trailer-mounted unit from them and it turns out it is made by Hydro-Tek. I'm very pleased with it so far.
