Do any of you loan eqt. to other contractors or newbee's,,I do.Altho I still cann't remember who I loan'd the turbo too, last year was the last time I seen it,guess I could have lost it but not likely...do you'll run into this also.

My surfaces cleaner and ex-wand get load out more then any, from there it goes to different nozzels,(turbo too),chemicals, pumps and I give away stuff if I don't need it,loaned a rig for a few weeks.

The bad part 65% are lowballers, mainly newbee's,I do not say no even to them......I do tell them tho its the reason they have to borrow stuff when they say they cann't afford to buy stuff:(

I have loaned out stuff to several people. When I think a specific person in starting to take advantage of me, I stop. Also stopped lending out PWers, because there is too great a chance for someone to run machine deadheaded.

Hello,

Yes, I loan stuff out. I have had a completely reconditioned RK-21 and a one of my world famous "WashPro 2000" surface cleaners out for over a year now to a local who has had some trouble getting started.

We work to gether on some jobs and keep each other aware of what is happening in the business in our area.

See ya,
Rick

Just make sure he's maintaining it properly..................it seems like that arrangement is working out for both of you.

We used to do warranty work on Karcher homeowner pressure washers.
(History)

At least once or twice a week we heard the stories about someone borrowing the p/w from their (friend, neighbor, boss etc.) and only used it for a short time & it broke.

I was impressed to see how many of these people took ownership in the problem and had the unit repaired or replaced at their expense, stating that it was their responsibility when borrowing something!

:)
