hi guys,

do you sometimes purchase products for a wood deck job at a local lowe's/menards/paint store?

if you do, then what kind of cleaning, brightening , sealing products would you prefer and recommend?

thanks for your time,
Ramie

No I don't, but if I did, probably Wolmans products would be a good choice.

hey guys,

do you think Wolman's cleaner (disodium peroxydicarbonate) and their brightener (oxalic acid) be sufficient for a usual deck job (clean/seal)??

thanks for your response,

Yes,
I've used both, and for a typical situation, the products work well. The problem however, is that retail products are very expensive when compared to others available. But in a pinch....go for it, no problem.

I would only go with Wolman in a pinch. As Aplus has said they are very expensive. I believe the price to be right around $20.00 for a 2lb canister of their cleaner (which is mainly sodium percarbonate) their other cleaners, I have not used.

Hey guys,

if i used a disodium peroxydicarbonate on a deck, i would then need to neutralize with oxalic acid ...right?

thanks for your time,
