Hello everyone!
I posted earlier in December to let everyone know that my husband and I are starting a new Power Washing Business in Virginia. We are in the process of now trying to acquire clients. I have made the brochures, flyers, business cards, and letter head, now I am trying to decide what to do with them. We aren't sure how to approach contractors, realtors, or builders about how our service can benefit them. I thought about sending a packet of information to a list of realtors that I compiled, but I didn't know what to say in the letter. Also, I thought about a mass mailing, but again don't know what to say in the letter. Please any suggestions or advice that anyone has on marketing/promoting our business, so we can get started, would be a huge help.

Casey, I'm in about the same boat as you, but I have not done all the print work yet. Just business cards at Office Max and trying to find a decent deal on some nice T-Shirts with graphics and company info.

Yellow Pages

Here is one for you.......

I received a call from my dad who just looked at the new yellow pages. I ordered a BOLD listing in two different books. I spoke with the saleswoman 4 different time & explained I just wanted my company name & number.

This is what I got, my name (real), home address and the number for my other location which is long distance for that book!!

I am going to call in the morning & speak with here supervisor to make sure they don't expect payment!! I really didn't expect much from the listing but to show I am a litagmite business.

The other book(different city) should be out late this month. That is the one I hope they get right since there is only 3 PW listed.
