Mi-t-m problem

I have a mitm hds 3505, washer, i have had very little problems out of it until the other day when the burner quit working, i traced it back to the ignitor not working replaced that, then 3 hours later it actually shorted out and popped off the machine. Since then i have traced the problem back to a voltage issue. I can adjust the motor to run around 130 volts with no load on it, pull the trigger and it dropps to around 80 volts which is way to low, then let off the pressure and it jolts up to 140-160 volts which is what is causing the ignitor to fry. Just hoping for a little direction, i hate admitting defeate, but i am almost ready to take it in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you have an engine problem,
the engine should typically run around 3200
rpm, the generator should be running around
3600 rpm (Difference is in pulley ratio)

If you turn the generator over 3600 rpm
you will get higher voltage output, slower
RPM lower voltage.

You should be running in the 110 to 125 volts
range both with engine under load, and no load.

that is the direction i have been leaning, but i just did a compression check on it (120psi) adjusted the valves, new plugs, fuel line and filter, air filter, since the problem has started. A few months back, my pump lost a little presure, so i rebuilt it, and had to replace 1 ceramic plunger, after that still a little low on pressure, so i did a coil clean on it and it was running about 3300-3600 psi, and its a 3500 psi machine. so i thought it was good. i did not notice the motor falling so much before this electrical problem, but i am about 150' away from the machine most of the time. any ideals? I am going to try another coil clean, and replace the unloader.[help]:smad::smad:
