Mixing ratio for chlorine

I bought a 16oz package of 56% chlorine shock treatment. How would I mix this chlorine powder to get the 12-15% ratio/gal? The guy at the store which sells janitorial and pool chemicals said to mix the 16oz pack in a 5 gallon bucket for cleaning siding but could not give me the % ratio/gal.

Do your self a favor and throw the powdered chlorine away.You will no get the cleaning results you seek.Get some 10.5% to 12% liquid pool chlorine and save the headaches.

How much would you mix the liquid chlorine, what would that ration be or just poor it into the chemical tank and let it mix with the chemical injector? Just asking.
