I'm just starting and got my first job, I ordered some Renew, how should I charge to clean just part of this house, the owner just wants the dirty mildewed part cleaned.

You don't give a whole lot of details in your post. How about a picture or something to go on? I usually use bleach for mildew, it's effective and easy to get. Just be careful how you use it and wet down the plants and grass first.

Mike,

I never, ever wash "just the dirty parts" of a house. It really can't be done since all surfaces get dirty, some just show it more. When you clean one side, the cleaning solution you use will likely creep around the corner and you will then be trying to blend in the dirt. Its not worth the effort.

Having said that, you need to establish a minimum price. $75 to $100 is not unreasonable, assuming you are licensed and insured.

Without more detail on the job i would honestly say your best plan of action is to explain in detail to the customer upfront that by cleaning only "select" parts of the property you will inadvertantly reveal how dirty the rest of the house is due to the color difference that will result. (clean white V. dirt y white, etc.) Bottom line, unless u pass on the job you do what the customer wants with the notion that hopefully he/she will be amazed by the results and or disgusted with the color disparity and will want the whole house done.
Good luck mike!
