Welcome!

Your question is a little vague, can you be more specific?

Hey Mark,

To be more specific...

I just bought a 4,000 psi @ 4GPM power washer with a 13hp honda motor. Its currently on the cart I bought it with. What I want to do is take the motor and the pump off the cart and mount in on my trailer which is a 5X10 single axle. Im planning to buy two water tanks, one 225 gallon and one 35 gallon chemical tank, hose reel, and eventually a hotbox to complete my power washing monster.

I have seen these driving around once in a while and I think they are pretty effecient set-ups. I want to mount the motor in the front of the trailer and have everything like the tanks and the wands located behind it.

My question is....is there some sort of mounting plate that the motor will set on top of or do I mount the motor directly to the bed of the trailer?

I would appreciate any feedback you fellas can give me or any other suggestions you may have about what Im wanting to do.

Thank you for your time and info...ite geatly appreciated

Thanks again,

Bob

Bob,

I took my "5/5" to a welder friend and had him cut off everything possible except the "skid plate" underneath . . . drilled holes through plate and trailer bed, inserted bolt, nuts and welded the nuts (theft!).

What'd I do different?? I really wished I had inserted heavy duty rubber "washers" . . . metal fatigue is for real.

Good luck!

13 hp honda motor

Where can I get the pulleys, belts and a belt drive pump for a 13 hp motor to set up a Belt drive pwasher. I can have my welder make a belt guard... Can this be Done:

Thanks

I know you aren't looking for a set-up like this, but this is mine on a 77"x12' Single Axle..I dunno about the weight of the tanks on teh trailer, as my machine is knocking on 1k which wouldn't leave room for a whole lot of water etc.

I still have to mount a couple of smaller tanks like the one you see in the pic for chemicals, and then, one for water, which I eventually plan to run a small cold-water unit off of.

when we were using mobile units i would mount the entire assembly using a u bolt clamping setup and bend the bolts after the threads to avoid theft(i like the welding idea)

Matt,

We can provide you with any and all of those components.

Call me Friday if you want to discuss options.

Consider keeping the machine intact on it's frame. Then you can use that frame as the anchor point. Vibration is also reduced via the pneumatic tires. Plus, if you ever need to use it as a mobile unit, you can. U-bolts over the axle would be strong, and easy to have fabricated.

A couple of tie-down straps over the frame of the cart would do the same thing. I agree with Tony, better to leave it on the cart.

As far as theft goes, that's why I have an enclosed trailer. :)
