Ed,

Good luck with the move......and getting your business settled down there. We have quite a few guys from NC on the board, so you should be in good hands.

When are you moving?

Ed,

I'm too new to answer your questions about finding
work and the EPA regs, but are you aware of all
the taxes this state has? If not, then bend over
baby cause here it comes! LOL

Might not be any worse than where you are,
but they tax almost everything here including
food and any pets you may have. I'm serious!
Just thought I'd give you a heads up because
many people are shocked once they move here
and then find out about all the taxes.

Eastern NC is still rebuilding from all the
flooding and hurricanes that hit the area, so
there should be enough work to keep you going.
The state and federal government are pumping
lots of money into the eastern NC area to help
in the recovery efforts.

Good luck with your move and be careful!

Ed,
I live about 35 miles east of Greenville. You will like this area, great place to live. If I can help you let me know. Not sure if I can answer all your questions, but will try.
