In need of advice from experienced professionals. I am about to purchase a BRAND NEW KARCHER G 4000 SH Pressure Cleaner. My cost is an excellent $850 from Sams Club. I will be using the unit often for driveways & walkways. Is anyone familiar with this unit? Also, are their any particular accessories to enhance this unit’s performance?

If anyone would like to recommend another unit around the same cost, I'm open for suggestions. Considering I am somewhat new to this profession, any advice will be helpful.

No advice other than.. great unit. Will make cleaning go quickly and efficiently. At the speed you will be able to work and the money you will be saving for one of those overpriced, high flow, hot water machines you can charge $.02 per square foot and make a killing.

I'm just yanking your chain. The Karcher doesn't spec out too bad but you get what you pay for. The downfall of using that machine is that Karcher parts are proprietary (all the way down to fittings and connections on your hose and gun) You will have to pay more for parts that fail (and they will fail more often) so that in the long run you will have spent more money over the life of the unit than just investing in something different for a few hundred more.

Thanks for stringing me along! I fell hook, line and sinker for your first paragraph. I appreciate a good sense of humor and enjoyed the laugh!

Thanks as well for the advice. As good as you think your advice may be, my MAGIC 8 BALL is always right. When I asked if I should listen to a guy named Ken Fenner, it simply stated "Don't count on it".

Jokes aside, I greatly appreciate your advice. Words of wisdom from an active professional is rare and invaluable. Also, if you have any suggestions on other units, please let me know.

::laughing:: the Magic 8 Ball is wise. The real test is to use one of those finger things the girls use in grade school (the four triangles that open and close and determine fate) I may actually have cooties or be in love with Marcie or worse.
