I would like to know if anyone has run into a similar situation as this. I looked at a job today that required 1350 sq.ft. of wood to be cleaned and sealed. The deck is approximately 250 -300 ft. from the water source and about 50 ft. higher elevation. There is no way to bring water to the site, you can't get a trailer in there. There is 40lbs of pressure coming from the house and I don't think that is enough to get water to my machine and do the deck. Dose anyone have a solution ? Any help wood be very much appreaciated. Thanks.

What if you kept your machine close to the water source then used 300ft of high pressure hose?

There are a number of ways to do this. One way is longer hoses. Since you have a positive displacement pump, It will pull water if it has to, the only problem is you will lose 50psi for every 50ft of hose. Another way is to use a booster pump and a water tank.

I would vary the distance. Try and do the water hose stretched to around 100 feet and do the pressure hose the rest of the way. Not sure if you can get your rig set up there or not. Sorry, I know it can be a problem. We have had several of the same situations and have either hooked up a bunch of water hose or set up our 4 50footer pressure line. Good luck!
