Gusy I need help with this. I was asked by a hospital administrator to wash the north side of a six story hospital. All I have is my wash rig and a 12 ft ladder! What in the HECK do I do? How would I price this? Would a manlift have to be added after the pricing? Please guys, I really could use a job like this! Thanks!

Kevin, Sounds like a nice job! First---Just my 2 cents.. A job this size requires a lift called a nuckel-bom it can reach 90-120 ft hi, The price of it in North Carolina for rental is around--$4,500.00 for one week. So include a price for the lift after you find out what it'll coast u.Then figure-- Either by sq ft or by the hr.--Realy depends on u & how much u want to make or how bad u want it.WE would charge about $15,000.00-$18,000.00 for a job this size. Once 4 years ago we gave a bid on the Big Blue Cork-Screw Roller coaster at MYRTLE BEACH (If your familure with the size of it??) THE Price of that job was $20,000.00..... So I guess it's all in what u want $$$$$$$$$$$$$ Good luck & congrats on the kid

Some tall buildings already have a scaffold that drops down on a cable from the roof. You know, like the ones in the movies for washing windows. They may have something in place already. Go check out the roof. Or ask the head of maint. or Housekeeping.
