I just want to say hello to all of you. I have enjoyed reading your posts so much that I finally decided to break down and go through with the registration process.

As much as I look forward to conversing with many of you on the concepts pertaining to our industry, I have to know how bigboy gets so many interesting photos.

The Deer and Treestand would make an excellent t-shirt!

Once again, hello from the newbie!

Welcome Brett,

You want to know what, oh how Bigboy gets so many pictures is easy, he sits for hours and hours and hours on his butt surfing the Internet.

OR

He goes out and shots whatever he wants and makes a stand for it then takes the picture.

Now the trucks and tractors and stuff he cleans in his spare time.

Thanks guys,

From what I have read, this is the place for questions and concerns. My first question that I would like to present is regarding safety. I would like to know what type of rigs you have for residential roof cleaning.

In Florida as well as in California I would imagine, there are alot of tile roofs. In the past ten years, I have seen alot of roofing contractors get skimpy on the amount of concrete they use to set underneath these tiles.

You can imagine the fear I get when the pitch is above 45 degrees and the tiles are loose due to this inadequate or inproper installation.

Being an optimist, I thought about using a rope and harness setup. The tiedowns used for large dogs (the ones that screw about 2-3 feet into the ground I though may work as a simple solution. This would work by attaching ropes to one end to a harness and to each tiedown anchored on each side of the house.

Any other suggestions?

P.S. - Yes, I hate heights, especially those 2 and 3 story jobs.

Welcome Brett:)

I don't clean tile roofs but I'm sure someone here does and they can help you out. Also check the search engine above.

Good Luck and welcome aboard.
