Hey Ed ,

I would first treat it as if I had concrete dust on my truck or better yet my wifes car . Just try a gentle power wash rinse ,the glossey finish should be ok since its new. You may want to use a soap with a transport wax in it or just rinse with wax additive.
Do a test area around the back , get real comfortable and show the site manager what you can do and this is the kind of benifit he can expect . shaneclardy@mindspring.com

Just curious as to what you charge to clean Mickey D's
lot. How do you get these accounts. Do you need to speak to the manager or someone in main office.
Just wondering???

I think its going to take an acid solution to get the concrete dust off b/c the heat from the metal roof has set the dust.Like you said, its going to look clean but when it drys its going to look patchy all over.I don't think I would use a caustic cleaner on that roof,it may dull that color or worse streak it..............C-ya

dirtchaser i am from the south and here the mickey ds are individualy owned(franchise)and control a certain area for instance one person may owned several within a certain area so if you get one more than likely you will get them all.i work at lowes in delivery full time and happened to deliver to the owner of mickey ds ,i meet a lot of buisness owners but anyway i had notice a hotsy trailer mounted at one mcdonalds and it had not been use since the store open so i asked him do they do their on cleaning with the washer and to my suprise he said know because his employees did not know how to use it properly and did not want anyone to get hurt so he wants to get rid of it because its and eye sore.(a really really good buy)so what i am saying is to get work from ANY where find away to get among the market you after.for example if you want to wash boats ,go fishing.if you want to wash semi trucks get gas at truck stops and hand out your buisness cards to localy owned trucks are owner operators, your local home improvement stores is a great place to find house washing jobs since the majority of the customers are home owners and if they did not care about their houses they wouldn't be their anyway.

What I would use most are afraid of b/c of all its hazards.I would use a weak HF acid mix followed with soap wash.I use a alumu. brightener that has HF in it but its not epa friendly, don't want to go into all that.I washed 4 2388 case Intl. combines today and I have washed them for 3 years,he told me today he was going to trade them off but hated to b/c they still look new.The alumn. brightener does a great job in cleaning plus it helps shine the sheet metal plus I apply wax. Also the HF acid it will do damage to glass.................C-ya

Sorry---I would make sure no acid would get on any windows or shurbs, apply acid with downstream from bottom to top of ridge,pw wash off with upstream soap, doing one side at a time, rinse with wax.If its hot and drying fast do 1/4 at a time, you don't the acid to dry or you will have to reapply.
