Newbie Question

Could not find the answer in search.
How long on average would it take to wash a 1 story house using a cold water unit at
3000psi@3.0gpm?The house would have your normal dirt and dust.A house you could go and wash it and leave.The house would have siding or wood.How about a 2story house?
I just want to make sure I have time and am making the right move starting a part time power washing business.
And NO I am NOT a lowballer looking for info

There is no really easy answer to your question. There are numerous methods of washing houses, some of which take longer than others. If you use an x-jet and do it all from the ground, probably 3 hours for a 2500 sq ft two story house. If you two step it or use other methods, that will vary.

I agree with warren. How and what are the biggest factors. Also how and what you use to clean the gutters. Also wood,vynil,stucco,dry-vit,alum. all have diffrent ways to wash and chems. Soffits , amount of windows,landscaping,set-up time,ect all diffrent.

I purchase an x-jet and it cut my house restoration by 70%. I really like it. x-jet is not worth much unless you use proper chemical mix. You have to allow the chemicals to do the work. I also use the x-jet in other ways - handy tool.

You will find that for a really good response to your questions you will need to offer as much information as possible in your questions. All the information you offer is what the answer will be based on.

Any job I have ever done has never had 'normal dirt and dust'. Every surface will be a different application. Every job is different. I agree with Warren, there really is no easy answer to your question.
