For those of you who use Wolmans Deckstrip, I stopped into a local "Big Lots" store (think it's a national chain) and guess what sat on the shelf:

Wolmans Deckstrip for $4.99/gal. That's right - fours dollars and ninety-nine cents. Of course this prompted me to ask if more could be ordered but management wasn't on-site at the time. The clerk said they never really know what's coming in until the truck gets there.

No promises - it was probably a fluke but if you have such a store in your area you might want to stop in and check.

I went into our local Big Lots today here in N. GA. They didn't have any deckstrip, but I did find 3 gallons of Wolman FP cedar for $4.99/gallon. It was a good deal for me. I just bought some of the same at a local paint store for $19.99. The paint store gets $22.99 to the public. The cans were bent up a little but looks fine on the inside. It's true. You never know what you might find in Big Lots.
