Opinions on pumps I'm considering

Hey guys, I've been reading reading reading for about a month now and have decided to take the leap into building a wash rig.

I have decided to build from scratch as I want to tailor my equipment to what I want without spending money on things I don't. I'm wanting to do home washing, light commercial, and concrete cleaning. I'm considering one of these pumps, but the low price has me leery of them. Can anyone give me any input on either and/or recommended something similar?

Udor MKC2024S Pump:: MAX 5.5 GPM, 3500 PSI, 1450 RPM (24mm Shaft) - Dultmeier Sales

or

Giant Industries Triplex Plunger Pump:: MAX 5.2 GPM, 3500 PSI, 3450 RPM (24mm Shaft) - Dultmeier Sales

or

Comet Pump RW6030S:: MAX 6.2 GPM, 3000 PSI, 1450 RPM (24mm Shaft) - Dultmeier Sales

Thanks in advance!

I can't help you there, but you need to go to the UserCP panel and fill in your signature.

If you would like some ideas on putting a homemade unit together come on over and I show you our trucks. I'm a couple hundred miles west of you.

We use General TSF 2221 pumps on both of our units and they have worked our real well for us.

Call or email if I can help.

I have owned a 10 gpm Udor and will never go back. I also have at least 5 machines with generals ranging from 4 gpm to 5.6 gpm and they give me little problems and are cheap to repair. (I don't work on my equipment). The Udor is bulletproof.

Ken,

We designed a 7 GPM 5000 PSI Hot HP trailer rig, powered by a Lombardini diesel, a couple years ago using the Udor pump, it has held up well.

Carlos saw it at our Round Table, not sure if he remembers it or not. :)

Mark, sounds like a killer workhorse. 7 gpm @ 5000 must be a beast to handle. What type of unloader?

That machine is an absolute BEAST !

The unloader is rated:
10.5 GPM @ 5650 PSI

Just one, Mark? hahaha

That's way more machine than I will ever need. If I ever venture farther into commercial, I would be looking for something like that.

What specialized application are for these machines used for?

10 GPM's per machine is allot of gallons, especially if they need to reclaim.
