Other Stuff

I have used straight Sodium Percarbonate to clean decks and fences etc. with good results....However; I keep seeing post where Sodium Percarbonate based cleaners have other stuff (secret ingredients?) in them that make them faster, more effective etc....Just what is this "other stuff" that supposedly makes them better? Are they worth the extra cost?
Any comments welcome....

Thanks..

The other "stuff" is probably some other type of detergent/soap/surfactant to give it "hang time". Worth the cost? Depends on what you're paying and what your results are. Check out the MSDS on the other cleaners you are looking at and see what's in it.

I use a basic reciepe 80% sodium per carb 10% sodium tripolyphosphate and 10% soda ash...not too fancy but works pretty good. Measured by weight for the blend and then I use volume for the water mix.
