pavement striping ...

Does anyone here have any experiance with pavement striping ? I'm washing the "outback steakhouse" here in town and the guy asked me if I could repaint the parking lot stripes ... Any advice ? Any experiance ? How much money is in it ?

I have never done that type work but hear tell some get 30 dallors a hour and some get $0.20 foot,also hear tell out back isn't that great in paying....hear say

They only charge 30.00 / hr ? That doesn't seem right ...

Do a search on the board,it has been talked about several times,try things like parking lot stripping/painting.With the right eqt. it can be done pretty fast as to go with the per foot price.Do a search on the net for what type tools and paint,white,yellow,blue,red and ect.Some make frames out of 1x4's and plywood cutouts for the arrows and ect.Some use carpet on the frames to get a tight fit againest the pavement,no under spray.

My partner does most of the Line Marking.If you are just going over existing lines you can fly through them.Our machine is about $6000.Honda engine,blow the parking lot clear,fire up the machine and pull the trigger. Just remember,it's called permanent line paint for a reason. I'd help with pricing but I dout it would actually help.
