Received a bid to restore approx. 238 storage doors (Alum).

The owner wants me to give her a bid on applying a protective coating to the doors that is suppose to fight oxidation.

The owner has already purchase the stuff - Has anybody heard of PENTROL sold by Lowes?

Is this stuff hard to apply? Is it good stuff?

Any comments will be appreciated.

I have been using a great product for preventing rust. It is made by Flood and is called Pentrol. You can find it in paint stores, Home Depot, Lowe's. I apply a thin coat with a rag on all my cast iron and steel power tools. When dry you can't tell it's there. I have been using it for over ten years. No rust! Now that winter is coming in the north condensation is rough on the tools.

and a msd sheet here

hope you have better luck than me with the storage companies. Last bid i did was for $3.oo a door and they said it was too much. I couldn't beleive it.
