Plastic rolls

I would like to buy a pallet of plastic, 8 foot by 200 foot, 2 mil. Does any one have a good supplier. At present I pay $16.00 to $17.00 a roll at the local lumber yards.

Even if you found it at another supplier for 1/2 that price, the shipping would put you over what you are paying now. What's wrong with supporting the local guy? It's not like you are spending $1600.

shipping on 1000# , half way across the U.S. , with OVER NITE TRANSPORTATION is only around $175 or so !

You have to look out for your best interest!

I would use atlest a 10 by 100. Sometimes you need that extra two feet to reach your container and if you dont use it. Zip of the excess and use it to cover the items up around your working area
Less mess = less time spent on the job.
And Kesseler is correct shipping will hammer you unless you order it buy the ton. What Millimiter plastic are you using? I dont like to use less than 3.5 or it puntures rips or gets melted on the hot equipment to easily. The two mill stuff in a 10 by 100 roll is great for covering stuff up around you but I dont like to use it for tarping hoods. My 2 cents. Happy Degreasing-lol Mtngoat

Doug , Try working a deal with the local guy. Say , X number of rolls a year at X price. I buy from my local Lowes. 10' X 100' 2 mil 10.00/roll regular price 16.00/roll. I am their single largest buyer of plastic. I just bought a pallet and a half . 165 rolls.
