Hey Wiz, think you can fix this?

We have really missed all of you for the last 3 weeks.
Just getting out of the hospital and able to use my arm to type. This was awful didn't even get to make the first payment on that pretty new truck. Drunk driver hit us in the rear on our way to a job on the interstate. Witnesses said he was doing over 100 mph and blew more than twice the legal limit. Of course he was not hurt. He rolled us about 6 times and threw Shirley out the window. She landed in the bed of his truck.

GOD was riding in that truck with us that night. He is the only reason we are back on this board tonight.

Hope everyone remembers to look in the mirrors for the fools behind you when you go to your next job.

Sure thing. How much money do you have? Believe it or not I have fixed one that bad before.

We are doing good. Believe it or not we got out with Jim having several cuts on his bottom and lots of bruises only I got broken collar bone, 3 broke ribs, cut hand and sore back and neck and lots of bruises. He took me to see the truck about a week after the wreck, the day after I got out of the hospital and neither one of us could believe our fortune. We know God answered our prayers that night.

A word of advice for everyone....INSURANCE. You never have enough. We thought we had over insured the equipment but all the little things add up. Luckly we had enough to cover just about everything we lost $30,000. Please guys insure what you have...we would be wiped out otherwise. The guy that hit us did not have enough insurance to cover everything so ours is having to pick up the rest. Already hired a lawyer for the personal injury part of it.

But we would trade everything for the wreck to have never happened.

We have found another truck and have already started fixing it up like the first one was, even though we can't work yet. Guess God decided we needed a vacation. We should be up and running by this weekend. Insurance to pay off first of next week.

Thanks for everyones prayers and concerns
GOD Bless you all

Ok Wiz The truck would be the easy part to fix. Here are pictures of the machines.

Geeezee,
I hope you guys are o.k. Sorry to hear about the accident. I guess we were thinking you were too busy to post. Your not the only ones to be involved in an accident this year. Several of us have been hit, but not as serious as yours.

It must be mobile washer wreck month. This makes mine look like a little parking lot ding and mine was totalled. I am glad to here that although there were injuries, there is nothing really serious and permanent, at least I pray there isn't. If there is something that I can do to help just say the word.

Any statement that I make about equipment, processes or your hair color is my own personal opinion. I usually base it on personal experience. If you disagree with me you are free to reply on both the BBS and by e-mail. If I am totally off base please explain why on the BBS so that we may all know why;)

Hi Jim and Shirley,

I am speechless, this is beyond anything I have seen in years.

Yes you two are truly blessed to be here now. This is not a vacation I would want to take nor do I think you consider it one either.

Jim, don't push it, I am sure your customers will wait or come back to you once you're all healed.

Shirley, take your time, let Jim find part time help till you are totally up to working.

Someone one was looking out for you that’s for sure.

Your pressure washers might have helped. Looks like your cab may have even crushed further if that equipment had not been mounted on that flatbed. Thank God you folks are OK. As Jon said take it slow and be careful.

It's a miracle you guys were not hurt more seriously! Glad to see everyone came out reasonably well. It's a real shame to see all your hard work of building the rig gets washed down the drain because one idiot decides he is going to down a few and drive.

Best Wishes,

Jim and Shirley,
So glad you guys made it out alright and are on the way to recovery. Was not able to pull the picture up as I've been having puter problems, but from the reaction of everyone who has seen it I know it must be horrible! Take care and take your time getting back to work; hope you can get something from the insurance for loss of wages. That guy doesn't deserve to get off that easily! Den and I have been busy between moving our house and remodeling his, so have not been on the board much lately; rest assured you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Wow! So sorry for the two of you. I have been out of commission with a ruptured disc, now I don't feel so bad! Shirley, take it easy, seriously. I have not worked in 2 weeks. It has been really hard to just sit on the side lines, but you need to do it anyway! We hired a temporary employee to take my place. I hate it, it is expensive and hired help just dosen't care like you do, but do it anyway! My husband really misses me on the job but he likes having supper ready when he gets home, so there are some advantages! Just take it easy and get better soon. We will keep you both in our prayers!

We really appreciate all the replys and outreaching of support. The wreck happened back in september and we are doing a lot better now except for some aches and pains that are still lingering.

We were trying to send this page to a friend thru e-mail but noticed I was unable to pull up the pictures.
I think I have fix that now.
Sorry if moving this post has inconvienced anyone.

you are so lucky to have been thru all of that and live to tell the story. We had an accident kind of like that a few years ago. A little old lady was stopped in the road and her break lights did not work. My wife was driving and she mannaged the miss the old lady. When she tryed to pull back on the road the gravel made the wheels go different speeds flipping the truck. It rolled several times across the road and landed on all 4's facing the opposite direction on the other side of the road. There were three kids in the bed of the truck when all of this happened. When the truck flipped the shell flew off and all three kids lifted out of the truck (on top of a peice of ply wood that was in the back) and slid across the road like they were on a flying carpet. It was like GOD had his hand under them lifting them to saftey. They ended up on the opposite side of the road on the sholder out of harms way with only a couple of wood scrapes to show for it. My wife bumped her head on a lamp that we had just bought from the flea market and it busted . She was okay. I didn't get even a scratch on me. The baby was strapped in his baby seat and he was giggling with glass stuck to his lolly pop and his face where the candy was dripping. We just got that off with masking tape. The Ford Ranger cab was flat I still can't figure out how we got out of the cab. God had something to do with our saftey
