"Kerry's Discharge Is Questioned by an Ex-JAG Officer
BY THOMAS LIPSCOMB - Special to the Sun
November 1, 2004

A former officer in the Navy's Judge Advocate General Corps Reserve has built a case that Senator Kerry was other than honorably discharged from the Navy by 1975, The New York Sun has learned.

http://www.nysun.com/article/4040

Hmmmmh? Whats up w/ this?

How convient and how much of a lie is this? Think about it, all those Swift Boat veterns that were sitting out there watching everything Kerry did didn't catch that, "Hey, you know Kerry wasn't discharged honorably?"

This is a bunch B.S. and you know it... The Swift Boat guys would have had that right there with the rest of the lies... Or.... Should we not believe everything else they said because they missed this account as well as many others, i'm sure?

Bush and his thugs are running around worring their asses off because we have a wartime president that is going down just like another wartime president, HIS DADDY!!

"Bush is really a bad person". "Yeah, I hate Bush" Cody.

That about sums up the entire argument against the President who, by and through his integrity, honesty, and decisive correct action has afforded you security and opportunity. You certainly owe GWB a huge debt. The astonishing thing is that the 'Codys' of this country actually believe they should be privy to every confidential Presidential meeting! Read his comment. Heaven help us!

Even more distressing is the extreme prejudice - i.e. - "afraid of 3000 Mexicans a day", "they're brown". I work with these honest, hard-working people on a daily basis - and have for years. Some send their entire paycheck home to their families in Mexico while they themselves live off of stale restaurant food. Some legal and some illegal. I have the highest regard for them. They learn English in short order. I have 3 languages, but it took years - and I am not stupid. Cody, I can tell from your composition that you would not hold a candle to the vast majority of these intelligent people. You have neither ground nor merit. Your assumptions, along with those of 'Orange', can be dismantled so easily a child could do it. I too think Kerry should be President - of France. 'One Call' states that the "pious story never happened" when referring to my reference. He doesn't even know the actual account to which I refer, and yet can make a judgment! This is passing hyprocrisy, however typical and consistent of his ilk. Thoughtful people can have an honest difference of opinion, but for the life of me I cannot understand how anyone cannot see Kerry's phoniness. You may be right on one issue - Kerry may well be the next President and we would just have to accept that and pray for him. I would admit, however, that I find it much easier to pray for GWB than for Kerry. If that is to be then it simply reinforces my observation about the blind leading the blind masses.

Richard

....and you hate Kerry. So whats the difference? Let me guess..YOUR reasons are valid while the anti-bushers are just based in hate. You're deluded...and it seems you consciously misinterpret points.
I believe Codys point about the Mexican BORDER was the terrorist could easliy pass for Mexican....and they have been. There are reports from INS agent of people of mid-eastern decent crossing the border since July. It bleeding hearts like you that may turn their heads and let in the next wave of bomber for fear of not appearing PC. Wake up and smell the coffee!

Actually I stated the pious Bush story never happened.
Why don't you post your references and lets check it....bet you don't do it.
You generalize about the hypocracy of it being typical. Post your version of the story and source....again I'll bet you won't. The odds of there being 2 stories like this would be unusual.

Orange,

Didn't your Mama teach you not to call names?
It is OK to disagree with other posts etc.

But that does not give you the right to call other PWN members names etc.

Lighten up!

'Orange',

"an IDIOT"? tsk tsk. Does your blind rage know no bounds? Perhaps this is why you lack ability to commit an intelligible composition, and clearly shows a sad ill-breeding. I truly feel sorry for you. It might be best for you to deposit your vote in favor of Kerry - you both share the exact same traits.

The apoligie was to Mark and the board, not a looser that has the inability to think for him/herself... If you have a problem with it seek help...

Blind rage, intelligible, ill-breeding? Put away your thesaurus and come back down to Earth and stop writing like a pure... Well I told Mark I wouldn't use that word.

Let's reveiw your post and see exactly what intelligible post you have posted thus far...

None that I have seen as of yet...

<font color=e87400>Richard you are a little wacko! You are evidently trying to read in way too much to what I say, in addition you don't read what I say very well.

Do I hate Bush, Yes, & I believe that I stated the reasons fairly clearly. It's not hate that's manifested from nowhere or from envy or for no shear reason. It's developed because I read, look & listen. And no, the info doesn't come from tabloids. It comes from the newspaper, nytimes & CSPAN. It's all right there.

As to my security, Like orangecrest said. I suppose I should thank Bush for the previous 200 years of no terrorist attacks too eh. Whats sad is that you probably actually believe the rhetoric you are spewing about this. In a year or 2 years when we get attacked & Kerry is the President you will undoubtedly blame him for it. Never pointing a finger at your illustrous Bush for his part in increasing the middle eastern terrorist supply but 100 times.

As to the mexicans. WTF ru talking about! What did I disrespect the race somehow by stating the obvious. They hop our borders in hordes. There's no hint of discrimination there. They are brown. Again this is obvious. In case you missed my point. Many members of al-qeada re brown too, thus it would be easy for them as it is any mexican to hop our borders.

Why are you taunting me so much anyway, is it because I opened up on your post of misconceptions. If you want to jab at me please go back to that post & refute the arguments I made there.

Great...only 2yrs. late.
How many sleeper cells has Bush let in because he didn't want to stop the cheap labor for his big biz buds?
Yeah...we're safer now.

President Bush has launched a drive to halt illegal immigration across America's porous southern border, amid growing fears that terrorists may be using Mexico as a base camp before heading to Arizona, Texas and California.

A string of alarming incidents has convinced Bush administration officials that lax immigration rules, designed to cope with the huge numbers of illegal entrants from Mexico, have become a significant loophole in the war on terror.

Over the past month, border agents from Arizona and Texas have anonymously reported recent encounters with dozens of Arab men, who have made their way across the 2,000-mile Mexican border.

Patrol agents told one Arizona newspaper that 77 males "of Middle Eastern descent" were apprehended in June in two separate incidents. All were trekking through the Chiricahua mountains and are believed to have been part of a larger group of illegal immigrants. Many were released pending immigration hearings. According to Solomon Ortiz, the Congressman for Corpus Christi in Texas, similar incidents are "happening all over the place. It's very, very scary".

The two groups of Arab males were discovered by patrol guards from Willcox, Arizona. "These guys didn't speak Spanish," said one field agent, "and they were speaking to each other in Arabic. It's ridiculous that we don't take this more seriously. We're told not to say a thing to the media." A colleague told the paper: "All the men had brand-new clothing and the exact same cut of moustache." Local ranchers have also reported a rise in the sightings of large groups of young males.

Last month, border patrol agents at McAllen airport, Texas, arrested a woman believed to be Pakistani, who was carrying a false South African passport. The woman, Farida Ahmed, is still being questioned by the FBI. She was travelling to New York, and admitted to having illegally crossed the Mexican border. She was still carrying a pair of wet jeans in her travel bag.

More than 1.2 million people attempt to cross US borders illegally each year. The vast majority are Mexicans who are immediately repatriated. But under existing laws, which take account limited detention facilities, many non-Mexican illegal immigrants are released prior to a hearing with an immigration judge, which most fail to attend. Almost 22,000 non-Mexican immigrants have been released pending a hearing since last October. Once released, they are free to travel on their own throughout the United States. According to one Texas immigration official, those who slip through the net come "from all over the world".

"If you want to enter the US illegally," said the official, "the way to do it is to get to Mexico first." The possibility of a southern border loophole for potential terrorists was recognised as early as last year. In testimony before Congress, Steve McCraw, the assistant director of the FBI's Office of Intelligence, stated that "the ability of foreign nationals to use [the hearings procedure] to create a well-documented but fictitious identity in the United States, provides an opportunity for terrorists to move freely within the US without triggering name-based watch lists. It also enables them to board planes without revealing their true identity".

According to new laws, approved by President Bush and announced last week by the Homeland Security Department, illegal immigrants who are not Mexican will be repatriated within days, without a hearing. The effort comes in response to a prolonged campaign by Texas congressmen, who have argued that the president's home state was in danger of becoming a gateway to America for terrorists.

In a letter to President Bush last week, Mr Ortiz wrote: "Law enforcement agencies across the south-west border are alarmed that the US is releasing thousands of OTMs [Other than Mexicans]. Those released include individuals from nations the US defines as state sponsors of potential terrorism, or from those nations that have produced large numbers of al-Qaeda militants."

Mr Ortiz also claims that immigration officials have privately warned him that a number of suspicious foreigners have been detained on the Mexican border and then released, including some who claimed to have travelled from South and Central America but were unable to speak Spanish.

The rules are to be tried out first in Tucson, Arizona, and Laredo, Texas. Any non-Mexican illegal immigrant found within 100 miles of the border, within 14 days of their arrival, will be immediately expelled. D'Wayne Jernigan, a sheriff in Del Rio, Texas, believes that the rule change should be immediately implemented across the entire Mexican border. Last month, immigration authorities told Sheriff Jernigan to release 17 Brazilians from his jail, before the FBI had located an interpreter in order to interview them.

"My concern is, are we serious about terrorism?" said Sheriff Jernigan. "Or about homeland security? Because we're turning loose non-Mexicans by the thousands. Entering this country illegally is a crime, and we're turning our heads and ignoring it."

Do you think the ugliness has been evenly split?

I don't think its a sincere ugliness or anything its just a sometimes heated but honest disscussion. People should have answers to challenges to their positions. If theres clear vision and firm grounding in ones positions ANY question or challenges should be easy to answer. When questions are completely avoided its a good bet that people are afraid to look there because their positions are weak. Thats should be a good thing...thats how we all learn critical thinking.

Thanks Dale...

This was an interesting article that I experience first hand, here in Southern California.

I was particularly looking for the below paragraph in which this woman entered into Texas while Bush was at his ranch, I believe. I told some, she said N.Y., but I believe she was headed to Crawford, TX myself.

“Last month, border patrol agents at McAllen airport, Texas, arrested a woman believed to be Pakistani, who was carrying a false South African passport. The woman, Farida Ahmed, is still being questioned by the FBI. She was traveling to New York, and admitted to having illegally crossed the Mexican border. Now RLT, this is an intelligible post. You have yet to post anything to warrant any creditability what so ever.

In fact, I haven’t really seen any articles with any credible evidence supporting Bush. The Article posted about Kerry and a dishonorable discharge is only a last minute desprite attempt to start a scandal, which will be ignored by the general public as exactly that: a drowning victim reaching for anything to stay afloat.

I know the avaliable article are zero to none, but perhaps someone will be able to post something within the next 24-hrs. before the polls close... Or even before Hawaii's polls close, becaue we all know how much that will help Bush.

I agree with you Mark... Only thing is, once the election is over and the votes are counted, it will start all up all over again on who stole the election and the, "I told you sos."

I already experienced this four years ago... All though it will generally be a lot less heated...

Cody's paranoia is both predictable and very easy to undestand, but I think we should thank 'Orange'. The only possible excuse he could have for his obvious fear and delusional disorders is that he is really a Bush supporter in disguise. His irrational and childish tirades are calculated to make those on the fence come down firmly on the side of GWB. It makes thinking people even more entrenched and ready to go to the polls tomorrow with a fresh resolve to keep in office the one who IS fit to command.

You know, even with your attempt to hack out something "intelligible" by spending hours looking through your thesaurus and cross referencing it with your dictionary, you still rank a 6.2 Flesch-Kincade grade level for your writing skills... It still needs to go up by 0.3 to be at the recommended grade level.

Maybe if you were attempt to write a page worth of facts on Bush with some references, perhaps you would have it done by the next election...

Well folks, there you have it - the froth that comes from a typical Kerry-cult follower. I rest my case. I would encourage each one to consider this when going to the polls tomorrow. Good night.
