Hello, we need to know how to charge for pressurewashing a 48,000 sq.ft. concrete building using hot water units. The building is not too dirty but it is a very large job. It's about 18 feet tall and we will have a boom lift to reach the elevated areas. If anyone can offer any suggestions on how to charge for this type of job we would greatly appreciate it.

Best way to charge

I have the same problem once in while. The way that I figure out it'll better for me is like that.

1. First of all. It's hard to presume everything about power washer. However try remember how much did you charge on your last job and how big it was "by sf"

2. Divide the sf by the amount you charge then we have our $/sf

3. Multiply this $x(new big job sf)=profit

4. NOW ask yourself:
a. It's too much what I am asking?
b. How many people might be interesting in take this job?
c. How many days it will take?
d. What my minimal to accept this job?
e. are there possibilities to work later with the same company?

Do not try get rich in just one time. Make good relationship with customer and then they will bring more and more work.

You may want to call a guy in your area that has done jobs like this before. Ask him for help. Guys in your area are slow so I am sure they would be willing to help. Offer a split and do everything under your company name so future business is yours. They can help with price and offer knowledge that you do not have yet.
