pricing apartment complex

I was asked to prepare a bid for cleaning 10 apartment buildings (vynal) . Before I go out and look at them I would like some advice on how to price the job . Some questions

- Do I figure out length x width and then add the stories ?
- What would be a fair sq foot price ?
- what do you do with the peoples belongings on the porches ?
- Anything else I would need to consider in the price ?

I have been doing residential cleaning for over 8 years but have never bid a job this big . This would take me to the next level . Any info would be greatly appreciated .

i try to figure how long the job will take. considering how hard the job is to do, let alone the sqft. have the people put all their stuff inside. some things can stay if there is room to move them back and forth. the deck is a deck i charge extra. often you can reach some siding from the deck to save time. most inportant is the condition of the deck(how long will it take). i never bid on a deck till i see it.you will have to post notices on all the doors 1 week before the job with a rain day,i tell them if i will be using bleach in the wash if so, and tell them to close the windows(people will forget). how many times do you have to move your truck or equiptment this takes time . how about enough hi presure hose. also look for water! some times they don't have water at each bldg.(pain in the but!). don't forget the cars in the way (block off some work space).
