Problem Downstreaming.

Is there a difference between reducing the pressure through the unloader and reducing the pressure by slowing down the engine (and not touching the unloader)?

Reducing the pressure is best done by changing
to a larger orfice nozzle or using a dual lance aka:
variable pressure lance.

When you slow engine you also reduce the GPM
most air cooled engines are designed for 3200-3600
rpm operation to ensure proper cooling & lubrication
of engine.

IC, bigger tips it is :) Thanks for all the help guys... I think i've finally figured out my problem.... coles notes..... the soap tip I had was marginally too small, maybe a "defective" tip.

I replaced it with another #40 soap tip and it works fine with 100ft of hose.... drilled out the old tip and it also works. As for the telescopic pole, i'm going to call that a hopeless cause (since it won't even pull soap with no tip in it).... 1/4 hose. The gun I was using may also be partially to blame since switching to a second gun (same make and model) did allow it to flow more soap.. ie.. restrictive gun.

BTW.. Mark, did you get my e-mail? for some reason I can't pm anybody on this forum :(
