Pump information

Hi. I just purchased a shur-flo pump and am going to use it for the first time tomorrow. Just to get familiar with it, I filled the tank with water and used the sprayer. How does this pump work--is it supposed to pulsate or should it be a steady pressure? Any info.?

Awhile back...

Your earlier post received several responses, and some of them discussed the "pulsating" effect and the reason for it. I think they covered it pretty good.

<b><font color=green> Mark you could feel alittle variation but not pulsating,things to look for:
(1)air getting in the line to pump.
(2)chemical line to small to pump.
(3)spray tip wrong size.
